This is an opportunity to work with an experienced team and play an important role in expanding our category leadership position in the travel industry and help us expand into new vertical markets in EMEA.

LocusLabs and the LocusMaps solution provides critical spatial components to the smart building technology stack. Candidates must be able to adapt to the fast-paced environment, organize and lead teams, and be passionate about enabling the whole organization around them to scale our customer-focused business.

The role reports to the VP of Sales and is responsible for enabling important customer-facing functions such as account management, existing customer solutions as well as a focus on growing revenue within a defined set of current customers. We are accepting candidates with 8 or more years of experience, and we require a natural leader in this role who has a solid baseline of knowledge in the aviation and/or smart buildings space, and who can grow with the role and the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Expand LocusLabs’ business within key accounts by identifying, qualifying and closing business opportunities
  • Build and maintain key customer & partners relationships; implement account-based strategies for expanding customers’ spend
  • Act as our first contact with new potential customers and partners, owning the relationship from start to finish
  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, as required, that are complementary to LocusLabs’ products, including solution concepts to key decision-makers to address their business issues and needs showing business value
  • Work with Product teams to define business requirements for features & capabilities that enable our customers and allow them to continue recognizing value
  • Anticipate, communicate and facilitate new client needs and/or product enhancements that will help both the customer and LocusLabs improve
  • Oversee customer kickoff, hand-off & deployment and ensure expectations are exceeded.
  • As required by key accounts, develop & own comprehensive scopes of work for new product customers and pilots in partnership with the Product Team
  • Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of LocusLabs products to customers at all levels, examples include: IT Staff, business managers/directors, and executives
  • Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high-quality results along with meeting all expectations for both internal and external customers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

  • 8+ years in a similar role.
  • Ability to align the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries to the LocusLabs shared vision and product roadmap.
  • Track record of key account management, solution engineering, consultancy, or sales for a SaaS organization. 
  • Experience within the aviation sector a plus.
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Good at searching out information and experimenting, likes to concentrate on a particular topic and to solve puzzles.
  • Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
  • BA/BS degree.
