Account Executive - North America

LocusLabs is a fast-growing startup company based in San Francisco, Boston, and Paris with a mission to make the world’s buildings and campuses smarter.  We provide enterprise mapping and location-based services for some of the world’s largest brands, and we are expanding our customer roster in North America. This will be an exciting role, working with cutting-edge technology in an emerging industry with new challenges everyday. Candidates must be able to adapt to the fast-paced environment, work independently, and be passionate about enabling their customers to succeed.

The candidate will be responsible for growing revenue in a defined patch in North America and potentially other regions, as needed. This position initially requires up to 40% travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Build and grow a pipeline of new business across defined verticals and/or regions.

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by identifying and closing new sales opportunities within targeted accounts as well as existing customers.

  • Maintain customer relationships across a defined patch; meet regularly with customers to brief on roadmap and product/service availability; ensure customers feel supported and innovative using LocusLabs’ suite of products

  • Build direct relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives at organizations across various verticals in mid-to-enterprise market accounts

  • Present LocusLabs solutions using value-based sales approaches and techniques working closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams.

  • Drive entire sales process from introduction to proposal to close

  • Pull in the right team members to provide technical consulting regarding LocusLabs products and communicate benefits.

  • Communicate customer feedback and requirements to Product and Engineering teams for incorporation into product roadmap.

  • Manage and respond to inbound lead requests.

  • Stay apprised of potential sales opportunities, host pitch meetings  and draft associated proposals.

  • Assist in the scope, sizing, and schedule management of projects and associated tasks.

  • Communicate engineering and support needs to internal development team, located locally and across other timezones.

  • Consistently delight customers by providing them with the best customer experience with LocusLabs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years experience in a commission-based sales role interfacing directly with customers

  • 5+ years of total work experience

  • Experience selling technology, and ideally, SaaS solutions

  • Strong communication and writing skills.

  • Upbeat personality and a get-it-done attitude

 

Compensation is base plus commission; meaningful stock options; Full-time position.
